Terms and Conditions for the Radley Picture Bag Competition (the “Competition”)

  1. Introduction
    1. The promoter is Radley + Co Ltd (“Radley”), who can be contacted at 3rd Floor, McBeath House, 310 Goswell Road, London, EC1V 7LW.
    2. By entering this Competition you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by Radley, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Competition.
    3. The Competition will run from 9:00am on 10th September 2018 until 23:59pm on 30th September 2018 on (the “Competition Period”).
  2. How does the Competition work?
    1. Participants must be aged 16 or over and resident in the UK with a UK postal address.
    2. This Competition is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Radley, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Radley, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
    3. To enter the Competition, entrants must obtain a copy of the Radley picture bag template from:
      1. the Radley website at;
      2. selected UK Radley stores or official UK Radley stockists. For a full list of participating and excluded stores, please check the Radley website here:;
    4. Using the picture bag template, entrants must create a design to feature on a Radley handbag. The design must feature a Radley Scottie Dog in some way. There are no other specifications for the design and it can be made using any method e.g. drawing, painting, use of digital software, collage etc.
    5. Entrants acknowledge and warrant that their design is their own intellectual creation and has not been copied or taken in whole or in part from any other source.
    6. Once completed, the picture bag template must be submitted to Radley during the Competition Period by either: posting the template to Radley’s head office using the following freepost address: Freepost MY RADLEY PICTURE BAG, emailing a picture of the completed template to, or taking a photo of the completed form and sharing it on social media using the hashtag #MyRadleyPictureBag and tagging the official Radley Instagram, Facebook or Twitter accounts using the applicable social media handles (Facebook and Instagram @radleylondon, Twitter @radley_london). (Together 2c, d, e, f and g constitute an “Entry” (or “Entries” where referenced in the plural)).
    7. Customers can only enter the Competition once across all entry channels. If a customer submits multiple Entries, only the first Entry will be entered into the Competition.
    8. Each Entry must be submitted on the picture bag template. Any Entries not submitted on the template will not be entered into the Competition. Any Entries received by Radley outside of the Competition Period shall not constitute a valid Entry and will not be entered into the Competition.
    9. Picture bag template forms can be collected from participating Radley stores or official Radley stockists in third party stores.     10. The decision of Radley regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    11. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has a cash value of zero. The Prize is for personal use only and not for resale.
  3. Prize
    1. The winner will have their design made into a Radley handbag (the “Prize”).
    2. There is one (1) Prize available across all Entry methods into the Competition. One (1) winner will be selected from all valid Entries on 5th October 2018.
    3. The winner will be chosen by the Radley design team. The winner will be the design that in the design team’s opinion, best represents the Radley brand.
    4. The prize winner will be contacted by a representative of Radley by the same method that they used to enter the Competition or by telephone within one (1) week of the end of the Competition Period (the “Winner Notification”).
    5. The prize winner has seven (7) days to respond to the Winner Notification and claim the Prize. In the event that the winner fails to respond to the Winner Notification, another winner will be selected from all valid Entries on the same criteria as set out in section 3(c).
    6. The winner will be sent the final design of the bag that incorporates the design in their Entry. The Prize will then be put into production.
    7. The Prize will be sent to an address provided by the winner once the winner’s design has been made into a Radley handbag. The winner will receive the handbag within 6 months of the design being finalised and Radley notifying the winner that the Prize is being made.
  4. Intellectual Property Rights and Use of Submissions
    1. Participants will retain ownership of the copyright in their Entries to the Competition.
    2. By submitting an Entry to the Competition, the participant grants Radley the worldwide, right to use the Entry in relation to the Competition, for the purposes of manufacturing the Prize (which shall include sharing the Entry with trusted third parties), and/or in relation to the advertising and/or marketing of Radley’s products and brand. Such use may include, without limitation, reproducing, copying, translating, adapting, publishing or making available your Entry i) in hardcopy, softcopy, or CAD formats, ii) on Radley’s websites, iii) on any social media account controlled by Radley; and iv) in Radley’s other advertising and/or marketing materials. The rights granted in this paragraph are perpetual (i.e. they last forever), and royalty-free (i.e. the participant will not be entitled to any compensation or other payments from Radley).
    3. All participants irrevocably waive all moral rights in their Entries to which they are entitled.
    4. By submitting an Entry to the Competition, participants agree that any such design, materials, photos or images will not infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
  5. General
    1. Radley reserves the right to amend the rules of the Competition, to withdraw the Competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable, or to cancel the Prize in the event of non-compliance with these Terms.
    2. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable post-event publicity, including the publication of his/her name and geographic location.
    3. The name of the winner will be made available upon request.
    4. Radley may contact participants using the social media platform that they used to enter the Competition or the email address supplied in Entry for administrative purposes relating to this Competition.
    5. Subject to clause 5(c) above, Radley will keep your personal information safe and will not disclose it to anyone else and will use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy available on its website.

    7. The Prize may become unavailable due to events outside of Radley’s control. In such an event, Radley will endeavour to provide a substitution for the Prize. Radley cannot guarantee the availability of the Prize. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
    8. Radley is not responsible for any costs associated with the Prize that are not included in these terms.
    9. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, Radley is not liable for, and you release Radley from, liabilities relating to any direct or indirect loss or damage which is suffered as a result of entering the Competition, accepting or using the Prize.
