A Girl’s Best Friend
Often remembered for her teenage performance as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, alongside ‘Toto’, a little black Cairn Terrier, who dutifully joins her on all her on-screen adventures, Judy was a lifelong dog lover. The talented terrier stayed at her house prior to filming; forming a bond that is instantly apparent on screen. She also owned several beloved dogs during her life, including two she named Boots and Funny.
From London with Love
Judy loved London and a significant amount of the film is set in the capital, where she performed at The Talk of the Town in 1969 as part of her comeback.
