There are so many reasons to love our Radley Responsible collection. Aside from the incredible designs – which we’ll talk you through in a moment – the most exciting thing for us is that they’re made with recycled plastic bottles. Well, recycled polyester that’s made from discarded plastic bottles. In addition to this we use water-based PU that produces 60% less emissions than an oil-based version. Love the planet? And great handbags? Step this way.
Our summer collection features some out-of-this-world prints. The tropics are coming to you with our Maple Cross Radley Palm bags. Are you more of a backpack or a cross body fan? This comes in four different silhouettes, so we have you covered either way. You might just spot our Radley Scottie among the leaves too. He’s ordered the pina coladas.
Of course we had to give Radley dog a starring role in at least part of this collection. Also in the Maple Cross family, we have the Signature Quilt. Featuring our cheeky mascot wearing his favourite stripy jumper. We know you’ll love this print on all four silhouettes. Did we mention the shoulder bag also features a padded interior compartment for a laptop or tablet? Commuting just got a lot more fun.
It’s not just about prints however. Radley Responsible has gone extra-green with our new Khaki colour in Finsbury Park Quilt. That intricate chevron pattern is the kind of straight-from-the-catwalk detailing our Design Team love to surprise us with.
Aside from Radley Responsible, we have plenty more new non-leather styles for you. Including Morris Road. Made in thick cotton canvas, the corners are also reinforced with water-based PU patches to make every style extra-sturdy. What would you fill these up with for that spur of the moment city break?
Our Director of Design, Zizi, explained why we’re so eager to jump on a plane with these.
“The styling works brilliantly for travel and everyday. We were inspired by vintage travel bags in every aspect of their creation, from the fabric, to the corner patches, to the fun and contemporary twist in the stripe straps.”
Whether your plans for the season include jetting off or staycations, we hope you’ve found your perfect bag.
We had a lot of fun discussing our current June collection with Director of Designer, Zizi. Read all about the new trends here. There’s plenty more to come, including a brand new colour we call Ocean. It might just be the most perfect shade for summer.
