Radley X RHS: A Special Edition Collection

We’ve had a blooming lovely time working with the UK’s leading gardening charity, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). See for yourself with these special edition handbags, purses and accessories.
All of our luxurious leather designs, including a special edition of Book Street, were inspired by the beautiful gardens and historical archives of the RHS.
The collection also celebrates British female artists and designers. We spoke with Charlotte Brooks, Art Curator at the RHS Lindley Library, to find out a bit more about these incredible women.
The intricate design you see on our Scottie-shaped cross body bag was inspired by a tile pattern from the Gertrude Jekyll collection. Charlotte describes her as: “very well known as a garden designer, but she was also an incredibly talented artist.”
The floral illustrations you see throughout the collection were also inspired by a dedicated amateur artist, Caroline Maria Applebee. Charlotte notes: “She’s one of those interesting characters we only know a little about. She was keenly interested in plants and painted throughout her life, very much for her own interest.”
We didn’t just want to showcase plants and flowers that look good, either. Our Designers specifically chose species recommended by the RHS that help wildlife such as bees and butterflies thrive. Seen here on our vanity case-shaped cross body complete with bamboo-effect top handle.
Our leather designs are looking incredibly vivid in nature-inspired shades such as Hosta, Cactus, Lavender, Wisteria and Mimosa. Like our picture bag, featuring the garden we all wish we were spending time in this season.
We know what you’re thinking, florals for spring? It’s not a cliché when they look this good. Our medium purse is one you’ll love pulling out of your handbag at every opportunity.
